The Department was established as an Allied Department in the year 1999 when the college was started and was upgraded as a Major Department with UG Programme in the year 2002 affiliated to Bharathiar University , with the sole aim of equipping the students both in Mathematics and Computer fields. It is functioning effectively with qualified and experienced staff members. It has been a constant source of inspiration to the students in their academic pursuits and all round development. The Department is giving counseling to the students to motivate their studies and overcome the difficulties faced by them during their academic.

• To help the students in expanding their mathematical skills and ability to understand and work practically in different computer applications.
• To imbibe moral values through holistic approach and a spirit of national integration.
